Regular maintenance is key to preventing scale buildup. Installing a water softener can reduce water hardness and decrease calcium and magnesium ion content, inhibiting scale formation at its source. After daily use, promptly wipe the inner walls of the pipes dry to prevent water residue from forming scale. For hot water pipes, periodically flush with warm water to prevent high temperatures from accelerating scale formation. If the pipes have not been used for a long time, it is recommended to flush them with clean water before restarting to remove any potentially deposited impurities.
